We’ve got surprises in store for our ninth annual festival like a new Party Stage with an accidentally all-femme DJ lineup (what can we say, the dolls do it better!) so you can dance till your heels bleed, our 21+ Lash Pass Lounge where the White Horse’s own Patty Dingle will be your dedicated bartender (VIP presale ticket holders only!), and the world’s first and probably last Crossdresser Olympics (why did I agree to this?) hosted by notorious trolls The Diva Dudes.
COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY
Last year I had the pleasure of joining four other drag performers - Cy Berspace, Mudd The Two Spirit, Piss E Sissy, and Glamputee - on a 3 day retreat to Guerneville as part of a program by Emerging Arts Professionals called Artists Adaptability Circles and they are looking for new cohorts of artists to join their 2026-2027 series.
The program offered a rare and much needed opportunity to invest in the one thing artists rarely get to prioritize — time. Time to dream and connect and grow and rest while investing in our development as arts professionals and connecting us to resources we needed to go back into our community and do the work that needed to be done.
It’s a very cool model and I would love to see more queer and trans artists, especially folx working in nightlife, get opportunities like this!
